Joining of new member institutions

This describes the procedure to be followed by institutions who are interested in joining the TCRN.

Auditing of TCRN Users and Searches:

This describes the procedure that the TIES Administrator and TCRN QA Manager will follow to ensure that users are valid users, to ensure that users are utilizing TCRN within the scope of their approved use, and to evaluate how TCRN is being used.

Incident Reporting Policy

This policy describes incidents that may arise in TCRN and how member institutions must report and respond to them.

Validation of De-Identification Quality:

This describes the procedure that the TCRN QA Manager will follow to ensure that reports loaded into TIES are appropriately de-identified and that periodic QA checks occur at least once per year.

Governance:

This describes the procedures and responsibilities of the two governance committees, the TCRN Executive Committee and the TCRN Policies and Processes Subcommittee.

Procedure for Increasing Level of Access to TCRN (Step Up Requests):

This describes the procedures that TIES Administrators and TCRN Approval Committees will follow to allow users to increase their level of access to TCRN.

Study Registration and Authorization:

This describes the procedure TCRN applicants must follow to access TCRN and that local TIES Administrators, external TCRN Approval Committees, and external TIES Administrators will follow to approve and authorize applicants to become TCRN users.

Verifying Eligibility of TCRN Users:

This describes the procedure that Local TIES Administrators will follow to verify that TCRN applicants are eligible to become TCRN users.
